Rick Deare is a professional Recruiter with expertise in sourcing, recruiting, selection and hiring.

As a young sales executive, Rick received national recognition for his management performance. Knowing that his own success was directly attributable to the collective talent of his teams, Rick developed a passion for recruiting, hiring and developing top talent. His fascination with the significant differences in individual capability, determination and performance drove him to define the distinctions that separated high performers from others. Rick's passion for building talent-based teams ultimately led him to make a mid-career change into the recruiting profession with a plan to establish a recruiting services firm.

While growing an emerging technology recruiting practice for a large search firm in Minneapolis, MN, Rick was recruited by a Fortune 100 Company to take on management recruiting for a $1 billion business unit. Using the strategies he developed as a sales executive, Rick identified and directly recruited top performers from competitive companies and established an internal search capability that remains to this day. The results were extraordinary, the business impact was measurable and the experience was transformative for the company and for Rick.

Rick's cumulative sourcing, recruiting, selection, hiring and business experience formed the basis for Deare Recruiting Solutions, founded as Deare & Associates, Inc. in 1998. The same passion that drove Rick as a young sales executive can be found today at Deare in a team of professional recruiters dedicated to helping high growth companies attract, compel and hire the difference-making talent.
